After The Ceremony
Here are some common post-wedding responsibilities as your
officiant:
- Signing and Filing Legal Documents: I will
ensure that your marriage license is properly completed, signed by
all necessary parties (including witnesses), and filed with the
appropriate
government office within the required timeframe. This is a crucial
legal step to officially register the marriage. Please make sure
to
order a certificate of marriage for your personal records.
- Offering Guidance and Support: My wife and I
may be available (at additional cost) to offer guidance and support to you as a couple and help you navigate the early stages of
your marriage. This could include providing advice on building a strong
relationship, communication, handling conflicts, or accessing
resources for marriage counseling if needed.
- Renewal of Vows or Anniversary Ceremonies: If
in the future, you desire to renew your vows or hold an
anniversary ceremony, please reach out as I’d be happy to discuss
how I can meet your needs.
- Congratulations on being married. My wife and I
look forward to provide ongoing support and guidance in any way
that we can, well beyond your wedding day.
